Deployment of Zoom

As announced in last week’s Point Com, Zoom will replace Starleaf as the institution’s video conferencing system.

Accordingly, the Zoom software solution is now installed on administrative workstations running Windows. If you cannot find it, simply restart your computer. For users who are administrators of their computer, or who use an operating system other than Windows (macOS or Linux), the “Zoom desktop client” application can be downloaded here: https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting

Zoom accounts are presently being created. If you already have a Zoom account with your institutional email address (@centralelille.fr), you will shortly receive an email asking you to join the “Centrale Lille” account. Otherwise, you can create your Zoom account as of tomorrow morning with your institutional email address by opening the Zoom application and clicking on “register” / “s’inscrire”.
