The “ERC Booster” scheme, aimed at supporting and giving the best chances of success to teaching researchers at Centrale Lille for large-scale ERC (European Research Council) calls for projects, has been renewed this year.
The winner for the 2022 ERC Booster (short-term) is Frédérique Pourpoint (UCCS), who proposes a project for reasoned improvement of the transport and storage of hydrogen thanks to the nuclear magnetic resonance characterization of porous materials.
Thanks to the ERC Booster scheme, the winner will now benefit from funding for a post-doctoral student to strengthen their activity, a teaching grant of 96 TD hours equivalent in the year in which their application for the ERC grant was submitted (year 2023-2024), and assistance with writing by a specialised firm familiar with supporting candidates with this type of call.
The next step will be the application for an ERC Consolidator grant.
Centrale Lille’s next “Booster ERC” call for applications will be launched in early 2023.
