The rates applicable to staff for CROUS (regional centre of student social services) catering, which entered into force on 1 August 2022, have been reassessed. The basic rate for users belonging to the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MENESR) is now set at €7.
Employees whose increased net compensation index (INM) is less than or equal to 534 benefit from an inter-ministerial service (Prestation Inter Ministérielle – PIM) of €1.29 per meal plus a contribution from Centrale Lille of €0.58 per meal.
The circular of 18 July 2022 on inter-ministerial social action services with common regulations stipulates that this inter-ministerial aid be increased to €1.38, i.e. an increase of approximately 7% per meal. Centrale Lille has also decided to increase its contribution by 7%, which brings the amount of its additional contribution to €0.62 per meal.
In addition, Centrale Lille wanted this cover to extend to all staff with no INM limit.
Thus, for an agent whose index is lower than INM 534, a payment of €2, and a payment of €0.62 for all others.
These increases in coverage will be effective as of 1 November 2023 at the latest.
