On 14 October 2022, on the occasion of the 6th edition of the Erasmus Days, the Geeks for Education project team invites you to a conference entitled “Science for ALL – Inclusive STEM Education in Practice”. The floor will be given to a panel of project leaders and key players who combine their technical skills and creativity to propose innovative and inclusive projects, from the spheres of formal and informal education.

4 talks by Geeks for Education project partners will explain their approach to inclusion with their respective audiences, and share examples of good teaching practices:

  • Dea Septiani, student and volunteer at WIDE – Women in Digital Empowerment, Luxembourg: “The Convergent Deck-Building game”.
  • Aspa Kralli, Communications Officer and Nancy Papaioannou, Web designer at InterMedia KT Greece: “Digital accessibility & Inclusion”.
  • Susana Constant Pereira, Project Manager and Facilitator at Aventura Marão Clube, Portugal: “STEAM in Nature as a tool for social transformation”
  • Amina Tandjaoui, Lecturer in Materials Sciences at Centrale Lille and Manager of the Cordées de la Réussite scheme, and Yannick Dusch, Lecturer in Physics at Centrale Lille, François Cler, Teacher in Mathematics and Coordinator of the Maths Lab, Paul Verlaine College, France: “Stimulating Curiosity for Scientific and Technological Disciplines: how to overcome social inequalities?”.

The ErasmusDays have become a major annual event for players in education, training, youth and sport. More than 2,000 events are already planned throughout the world, and we are happy to participate!
