On Tuesday 28 June 2022, the French Minister of Public Sector Transformation and the Civil Service convened a wage conference with trade union representatives and public regional, hospital and State employers.
On this occasion, he announced the index point’s general increase to 3.5%, which will be effective from 1 July 2022 for all civil servants. This revaluation applies to all public officials (permanent or contractual) paid in reference to a public service index.
The terms of application will be specified in a decree that will be published forthwith. According to the initial information communicated, its implementation will be valid on the August 2022 payroll, with effect from 1 July 2022.
