The committee of the support fund for development and innovation (FAVI) has met for the third time and heard 11 projects.
3 projects led by our engineering students were selected and will receive support from Centrale Lille:
- Paul Métailler (ITEEM) – Pogui Surf
Based on the observation that each surfboard used by beginners is basically a block of oil transformed into foam, produced in Asia, imported to the other end of the world and then incinerated at the end of its life, Pogui Surf offers foam surfboards that are 100% recycled, recyclable and produced locally.
- Alexis Rybak and Anschaire Perard (IG2I) – TEKYNS SYSTEM
Alexis and Anschaire have developed a cloud storage application in which documents are automatically sorted by artificial intelligence. The application supports users in the organisation of their administrative documents on a daily basis (administrative, invoices, course copies, etc.)
- Victor Guilbert (ITEEM) – Thrust
Created using the method of a Japanese botanist named Akira Miyawaki, this initiative invites communities and businesses to collaboratively plant mini-forests in order to take concrete action against climate change, while conducting awareness-raising actions.
This third session of the support fund for development and innovation actions led to the granting of €9,800 in support.
