To facilitate the continuation of Master’s studies, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation has defined a harmonised national timetable for applications for entry into the first year of the Master’s programme.
The project to transform the Trouvermonmaster.gouv.fr platform, inspired by the Parcoursup model, seeks to provide more support to students when accessing Master’s programmes by informing them of opportunities throughout France.
The circular of 28 February 2022 presents part of the new organisation of applications, which will be implemented gradually. At the start of the 2023-2024 academic year, Trouvermonmaster.gouv.fr is expected to become a single platform for applications, whereupon a national calendar of application submission dates will be defined.
At present, for the next academic year starting in September 2022, the deadline for notifying the acceptance or refusal of the application is 24 June 2022 in the case of applications in the first year of the master’s programme. Two additional phases are then planned for July, in order to give applicants every chance of continuing their studies.
For this academic year, the Trouvermonmaster.gouv.fr system continues to target only French applicants or applicants from French higher education institutions, however a widening of the target audience could well be decided at a later date.
