Registration for the ITRF (Ingénieurs et personnels Techniques de Recherche et de Formation – research and training engineers and technicians) competitions (internal and external) as well as for the national professional grade promotion examinations (IGR HC, TECH CE and TECH CS) will take place from Thursday 31 March 2022 (12 pm, Paris time) to Thursday 28 April 2022 (12 pm, Paris time).
Applicants must first register online: https://www.itrf.education.gouv.fr/itrf/menuaccueil.do and then return, by simple registered post, the personalised registration files obtained via the online service.
All information relating to competitions is available on the website of the French Ministry of Higher Education.
Oral professional examinations will take place:
- Technicien de recherche et de formation de classe exceptionnelle (Exceptional-class research and training technician): 20-24 June 2022 inclusive,
- Technicien de recherche et de formation de classe supérieure (Higher-class research and training technician): 12-22 September 2022 inclusive,
- Ingénieur de recherche hors classe (Out-of-class research engineer): 14-17 November 2022 inclusive.
Reminder: the institution has introduced two positions in the competition:
- 1 Assistant Engineer position (internal competition) BAP J / Assistant in administrative management,
- 1 CN research and training technician position (external competition) BAP J / Administrative management technician.
Appointment dates:
- 1 September 2022 for category C and B competitions,
- 12 December 2022 for category A competitions.
Lastly, applicants for the competitions are asked to anticipate, as far in advance as possible, their request for a Public Service status with the Human Resources department, in order to be sure to have it before registration closes. The Human Resources department may also assist applicants in their preparation for these competitions.
