Lifelong training for teaching staff is a major issue for both the staff themselves and the institution. For the staff, it allows everyone to develop their skills in order to better perform the tasks entrusted to them and better understand their working environment. It is also an essential tool in the construction and success of the individual professional project. For the institution, lifelong training is the privileged tool for adaptation, improvement, social promotion, modernisation and anticipation.
The Training Plan is the operational reflection of the institution’s training policy. It lists the types of training that may exist, and focuses on new training themes related to the institution’s strategy and regulatory changes. Since 2020, the institution has allocated a budget of €90,000 to finance training activities.
Accordingly, since 2019, teachers-researchers have been able to benefit from the financial support for their Authorisation to Supervise Research (HDR – Habilitation à Diriger des Recherche).
For 2022, the focus will be placed on intensive training in English for administrative and technical staff, as well as the training of certain staff as part of the deployment of the Sexist and Sexual Violence reporting system.
The Training Plan is voted on each year by the institution’s Technical Committee, and will be presented at the Technical Committee meeting of 1 March 2022. The institution’s training plan will then be available on the EDM system.
In addition, the Human Resources department regularly publishes a list of training actions proposed by our partners. By all means consult it via the EDM system.
