Centrale de Lyon has opted to diversify its recruitment by creating “CapECL”, an integrated preparatory cycle that will open in September 2022. With a recruitment by application (via Parcoursup), this course is aimed at final-year secondary school students, bringing them access to all the Centrale de Lyon engineering courses on its two campuses (Lyon and Saint Etienne): the general engineering course (École Centrale de Lyon) and the 4 specialist engineering courses (energy, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, physical engineering).
CapECL is a 2-year course open to 24 students, which will take place on the Saint-Etienne campus. It consists of intensive scientific training in mathematics and physics-chemistry, supplemented by a collaborative approach in project mode to address engineering and digital sciences.
