The Journées Nationales de l’Ingénieur (JNI – National Engineering Days), organised by Engineers and Scientists of France (IESF) as part of the World Engineering Day (WED), under the aegis of UNESCO, will take place from 4 – 19 March 2023.
In this context, any event that promotes science and the engineering world (such as a conference, seminar, open days, hackathon, competition, trade show, exhibition, company visit, an afterwork, etc.) may be labelled. If you would like to declare an event, go to the official website of the JNI 2023 and don’t forget to also inform the communication unit.
Every year, the JNI event brings together 10,000 participants from throughout France who:
- promote and advocate engineering professions in the eyes of the general public and decision-makers to encourage new paths and promote employment,
- strengthen engineers’ sense of belonging so that they are committed to the challenges inherent in the digital and environmental transitions,
- encourage engineers to get involved, undertake and innovate in order to push forward sustainable development goals.
