Nextcloud is a file hosting solution and collaboration platform. This solution offers multiple services, including:
- Access to your files from anywhere, whether from within Centrale Lille or outside;
- An easy-to-use web interface, desktop clients and mobile applications to access your files;
- The possibility of sharing your files with whoever you want, even people who are not Centrale Lille personnel.
You can now access your space on Nextcloud via the new icon installed on the ENT in “My applications”.
If you want to access your files directly via a folder installed on your computer, a synchronisation client is available for Windows, MacOS, Linux Android and iOS at this address: https://nextcloud.com/install/#install-clients – When setting up the tool, you will be asked for a connection URL: https://nextcloud.centralelille.fr
Each staff member has a personal space of 50 GB (2 GB for students and non-permanent staff). This personal and individual solution cannot be used to share files within or between departments, or for institutional documents that must always be shared via the EDM system.
For staff who use the Nuxeo drive client, the IT resources department will contact them to help them migrate to Nextcloud.
Make a NextCloud request: GLPI application > Submit a ticket > IT Category >> other.
