Chimie Pékin (literally, Beijing Chemistry) is the result of a partnership between the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) and a consortium of Chemistry schools, members of the Gay-Lussac Federation.
Based on the principles of French-style teaching adapted to the Chinese context of higher education, the course offered by Chimie Pékin is based on a three-year preparatory cycle (instead of two years in France, to allow Chinese students to study French language).
Chimie Pékin has a French-Chinese directorate established at BUCT: one Chinese and French director and deputy director. Each year, Chimie Pékin recruits 80 to 90 students per graduating year, at the Gao Kao exam (Chinese equivalent of the French Baccalaureate exam).
In this context, Chimie Pékin is recruiting an associate professor of chemistry whose missions are detailed in this job description.
