Centrale Lille is now a member of the Amazon AWS Academy. This partnership will allow the institution to develop Cloud Computing lessons based on official course materials offered by Amazon AWS, or content designed by the teachers themselves.

From sandboxes to specific curricula, teachers will thus benefit from new opportunities through resources –  offered free of charge by Amazon AWS – that can be easily made available, and that will enable students to deploy innovative and modern solutions in the Amazon Cloud in an educational context.

Here are three examples of topics currently covered by AWS Academy “turnkey” courses, available free of charge: Cloud Foundations (basic cloud computing concepts), Engineering Operations (basic knowledge of data centres), Machine Learning Foundations (introduction to machine learning using AWS resources).

By all means contact Emmanuel Druon if you have any questions.
