As part of their curriculum, and to discover the professions related to the field of chemistry, ENSCL student-engineers are required to visit companies, their laboratories and production sites. The current health situation makes the organisation of these visits more difficult, which is why the Minafin Group and Minakem have chosen to offer a 100% virtual visit.
On Tuesday 25 November 2021, nearly 200 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students from ENSCL went online to discover the facilities of the Minakem production site in Beuvry-La-Forêt. The programme included a presentation of the activities of the company, which develops and manufactures active ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry and the Minafin group (health chemistry, green chemistry, and special chemistry).
This was an opportunity for the engineering students to immerse themselves in the R&D, Quality Control and Production departments, which were entirely modelled in 3D, with a 360° view and the possibility to zoom in on certain equipment.
