The European Metropolis of Lille is co-organising an annual creathon with the French-Dutch Network, bringing together young metropolitan, Dutch and Belgian people. In 2022, this event is developing because it will be a cross-creathon with Maastricht, in the framework of the 30th anniversary of the Maastricht Treaty.
Creathons are ‘creative marathons’, interactive workshops between talented students and young professionals. Participants come from different personal, professional, and educational backgrounds and work together to come up with innovative solutions, projects or prototypes related to a pre-formulated topic.
The creathon is divided into two stages. The first part consists of preparatory sessions from 7 to 9 February in Maastricht. A month later, the second and final session will be held in Lille from 16 to 18 March 2022.
The theme of creathon 2022 is “Citizen Engagement in Circular Economy”.
