As part of the measures linked to the Law on Research Programming (LPR) adopted in December 2020, and to accompany the implementation of Junior Professorships, a reclassification plan will allow lecturers to benefit from an internal promotion to the professorial body. This measure will last 5 years, from 2021 to 2025.
The possibilities of internal promotion are allocated each year by order of the Minister for Higher Education for each public higher education institution. They take into account the differences in the ratio between the colleges of PUs and the colleges of MCFs within the sections of the CNU. They also consider the distribution of staff within the institutions and respect at the national level a balance of three promotion possibilities open to lecturers and assimilated staff of the 2nd grade and one to lecturers and assimilated staff of the 1st grade with 10 years of seniority.
The pre-notification of possibilities for internal promotion of MCFs to PR for 2021 and 2022 sent to Centrale Lille indicates 1 promotion for 2021 and 0 for 2022.
In accordance with the memorandum of understanding, the possibilities of reclassification are intended to be used in priority in the sections for which the ratio of PR/MCF is the most unfavourable. For Centrale Lille, the section identified by the Ministry is Section 32 – Organic, Mineral and Industrial Chemistry.
