One researcher, one project, 18 minutes to understand: this is the challenge that Centrale Lille researchers and teacher-researchers have chosen to take up!

Following the example of the “My thesis in 180 seconds” competition, the objective is to present a research project or theme in no more than 18 minutes, in simple terms, so that everyone can understand, even novices.

  • Thursday 16 December, 12:30: “Small holes, small holes, more small holes” by Christophe Volkringer (UCCS)
  • Thursday 27 January, 12:30: “The fire war: preventing and fighting” by Serge Bourbigot (UMET)

These meetings were set up in 2018 and can now be resumed in person. They are open to all administrative, technical, and teaching staff, as well as to students.
