“With 4.5 million tons of plastic waste produced each year in France, the ecological stakes are higher than ever,” explains Charles Christory, a 2008 graduate of ITEEM, who wanted to act for the planet by co-founding Le Fourgon this year.
After the success of his flash game “Paf le chien” and the creation of his marketing games company, Adictiz, Charles wanted to give a new turn to his life. His desire to undertake, his attraction for the computer world and his understanding of technology, gave him the desire to offer this new digital experience: the possibility of ordering returnable drinks, delivered directly to your home by electric vehicles in the MEL.
“Currently, our ecological footprint is problematic for future generations. That’s why, thanks to this project, I would like to participate in my own way to carbon neutrality in 2050”, says Charles. During each round, the deliveryman collects the empty bottles which will be washed and redistributed to the producer for reuse. “Each case of empty bottles is a victory” he explains.
There are currently 15 employees working for Le Fourgon. The company is pursuing its development strategy in the MEL and soon in other cities. It has also recently added to its shelves to offer more choice to its consumers: beer, juice, soft drinks, water, milk, wine, as well as soups and spirits. “We want to stay focused and in tune with the market to ensure our growth,” says Charles.
