All employees (permanent, contract or apprentice) who pay supplementary social protection contributions, either as the holder of a contract or as a beneficiary of a contract, will be eligible for a contribution of €15 per month from January 2022.

When the agent is a beneficiary of a collective contract (via his or her spouse), the contributions are eligible provided that they are not financed by the spouse’s employer.

In order to qualify for this, the employee must submit a request to the institution using a form which will be made available in the EDM together with a certificate issued by his or her complementary insurance company.

This certificate must specify that:

  • the staff member is an individual beneficiary, or a beneficiary of a collective contract, of a responsible and supplementary social protection contract or regulation intended to cover expenses incurred as a result of maternity, illness or accident;
  • if the agent is a beneficiary of a group contract (through his or her spouse), he or she does not benefit from financing by this employer.

For the payment to be made from January 2022, the request for reimbursement accompanied by the certificate from the social protection body must be provided to the HR department (by e-mail to or by internal mail) by 2 November 2021.
