Fans of burgers, pizzas and sushi will finally be able to order and collect their order from a single collection point. The solution has been provided by AlegoDrive, an application developed by Donatien Dhombres, a 2019 graduate of the École Centrale de Lille, which allows people to pre-order meals from different restaurateurs in drive-throughs on the outskirts of cities. The drive-throughs are currently installed in Saint André and Sainghin-en Weppes, but you will soon find them in Phalempin and Linselles. Donatien works in partnership with restaurant owners but also with certain town halls to be present at gourmet events, such as the Str’eat market which was held in Saint André this summer.
His food tech project, aimed at the population of urban peripheries, is currently being developed. AlegoDrive benefits from a dynamic ecosystem that is conducive to Internet ordering and digital development. Donatien is supported by Euratechnologies, for which he conducted his feedback during his market opportunity test – MVP (Minimum Viable Product). Click here to discover his testimony.
Donatien talks about his experience as an auto-entrepreneur, from the idea to the realisation of the project: “Being an auto-entrepreneur requires time and a lot of investment. These are realities to be considered, as it is a real-life choice. It is necessary to constantly come up with new ideas. My training as a general engineer at the École Centrale de Lille helped me to be efficient in various fields of activity.
