Every year in France, between 40,000 and 50,000 people die from cardiac arrest. It is the first 3 minutes that are essential to take charge and save lives. In order to raise awareness of life-saving techniques and make them accessible to all, the Lifeaz start-up, co-founded by Johann Kalchman, a 2012 graduate of the École Centrale de Lille, has designed a 100% French connected defibrillator.
Called “Clark”, this easy-to-use defibrillator is intended for private individuals: it guides users vocally and visually through three steps: electrode placement, heart rhythm analysis and cardiac massage.
The defibrillator has been on sale for a few days on the Boulanger website and will arrive on the shelves of several of their shops from 1 July.
