In order to support the excellence of research throughout the region, the Hauts-de-France Region sets up a research grant scheme each year, which contributes to the attractiveness and influence of research and plays a part in economic development. In this context, the grant allocated by the Region covers a maximum of 50% of the salary, including expenses, over 3 years.
This year, of the 258 subjects submitted, 115 subjects are on the main list for a Region grant and 14 subjects are directed towards the 2021-2027 FEDER PO (including 12 in the field of Engineering Sciences). Of the 19 institutions receiving this support, Centrale Lille ranks 4th with 8 Region research grants and will also benefit from 2 support schemes on the PO FEDER 2021-2027.
