Created in March 2021 by students from the Ecole Centrale de Lille, the Centrale Finance Society association aims to bring together and initiate students interested in the world of finance (corporate finance, market finance and decentralised finance) by organising unique events with high added value.
The association has several active members, who are students of the 1st and 2nd year of the Ecole Centrale de Lille. Their activities revolve around four main missions:
- Discovery: Giving the tools and culture to understand the world of finance through a wide range of events;
- Progress: Enabling students to hone their skills and knowledge through quality educational content at different levels;
- Networking: Giving students the opportunity to create and expand their network in the financial sector
- Sharing: Writing and distributing different contents (“The Taurus Decrypts” newsletter, Podcast, Business Sheets, …)
“Our strength as a young association is that we are all extremely motivated and stimulated by starting and creating a project from scratch. The association brings together very different profiles related to the world of finance specific to each one. This allows an emulation and a phenomenal efficiency. We are committed to becoming an essential association of Centrale Lille and to promote the School through large-scale student events with high added value.” explains Marius Vanbecelaere, President of the Centrale Finance Society.
