The first evacuation exercise of the academic year will take place :

On the Villeneuve d’Ascq campus

  • 16 September at 9.20am: Building C7
  • 17 September at 3.20pm: Buildings I and J
  • 24 September at 9.50am: Buildings A, B, C, E, F and G (Foundry)
  • 24 September at 10.30am: Buildings B7 and D
  • 24 September at 11.00am: Buildings K and M6

This first exercise is announced, as required by regulations, and should enable everyone to identify the sound of the alarms. You are asked to evacuate the building as soon as the alarm sounds, using the nearest exit and following the instructions on the evacuation guides.

When you are outside, please do not block the emergency exits and go to the assembly point symbolised by this pictogram. You must wait for the exercise to end and for authorisation before returning to your building. As a reminder, this evacuation exercise is compulsory and everyone’s cooperation is needed for it to be a success.

Teachers in particular have a key role to play, as they are responsible for the safety of the students they supervise. When the audible alarm goes off, teachers must stop all activities, apply emergency stop measures if necessary, and evacuate their group of students.
