On Sunday, September 26, Centrale Lille’s Ingénieurs Sans Frontières (Engineers without Borders) association organised a Clean Walk to clean up the Cité scientifique campus. In less than two hours, this ecological event collected 282.4 kg of waste, more than twenty bottles of cigarette butts and nearly 200 masks throughout the Cité scientifique.
The main objective was to raise students’ awareness of ecology, but this “clean walk” was also an opportunity to bring cohesion among them during this civic action.
