As announced in Point Com of 2 May, a new antivirus – WithSecure – will soon replace Kaspersky. As of 15 June, Kaspersky licences will no longer be active.
The replacement will be completely transparent: all Windows computers with Kaspersky will be updated automatically the next time they are restarted, provided they are connected to the network.
As of 15 June, you can check that the new WithSecure antivirus solution is installed:
- for Windows users, by clicking at the bottom right of the Windows menu bar on “Show hidden icons” ; you should see the WithSecure icon
- for MacOS users, you should have this icon
in the top bar.
If you see that WithSecure is not installed on your computer, even after restarting, please create a GLPI ticket.
Note that all computers on the Centrale Lille network must be equipped with an up-to-date antivirus.
